Shivon Eck, Founder of Wild Tails NC, Inc.

After 10 years of experience in the zoological community, I founded Wild Tails in Snow Camp, NC. I graduated Moorpark College in 2010 with a degree in Exotic Animal Training and Management, acquiring certification in Animal Training and Wildlife Education. I have expanded my knowledge and skills at facilities including Eyes of the Wild and Conservators’ Center. I thrive on sharing the animals I have the privilege of working with in an educational, entertaining, and passionate manner.

I believe a personal and interactive experience with the wonderful and wild animals we share this world with is vital to creating a connection, understanding, and appreciation for our natural world. I am committed to providing the highest standard of care and training to our animal ambassadors, while advocating purposeful and responsible captive husbandry of exotic species to further conservation efforts. I am grateful for every opportunity to bring the Wild Tails experience to my community and hope to make a difference for the future.
